MEDICARE GENERAL ENROLLMENT PERIOD – The Office of the Lieutenant
Governor’s VI State Health Insurance Assistance Program (VI SHIP)/Medicare
Office reminds the public that the General Enrollment Period for Medicare
Part B began on January 3, 2005, and will end on March 31, 2005. Any
Medicare beneficiary without Part B coverage who is interested in enrolling
can contact their local Social Security Office on St. Croix at 778-5946
or on St. Thomas at 774-5247. For additional information, call the VI
SHIP/Medicare Office at 772-7368 on St. Croix or 714-4354 on St. Thomas.
