LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR VARGRAVE RICHARDS EXTENDS CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING
OF RANDY ROSS
Lieutenant Governor Vargrave Richards extends heartfelt sympathy to
the family and friends of Randolph "Randy" Ross.
The Lieutenant Governor said Ross was a stalwart of the St. Croix business
community, who was generous and sensitive to the needs of the community,
especially involving himself in youth-related sports activities. He
also attached himself enthusiastically to professional sports and became
known as a baseball aficionado.
Lieutenant Governor Richards shared that he personally admired Ross'
determination to make it through the corporate structure and his many
years in business determinedly promoting Coca-Cola. Richards also thanked
Ross for the key role he played in the land acquisition and development
of the Henry E. Rohlsen International Airport.
"My sincere condolences are offered to all who loved him; my deepest
sympathy to former St. Croix Administrator Rupert W. Ross Jr. May you
be comforted during this difficult period knowing that the St. Croix
community appreciates his selfless contributions," Richards concluded.
