LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR EXTENDS CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF
SEVERIANO "CHEO" GUADALUPE
Lieutenant Governor Vargrave Richards offers his deepest sympathy to
the family and friends of Mr. Severiano "Cheo" Guadalupe,
whom he considered a loyal and dedicated friend and supporter.
"I came to know 'Cheo,' as he was affectionately known, as a man
who strived his utmost to be of assistance and service to his community.
On a more personal level, I enjoyed the times spent with him sharing
many sumptuous meals at his La Grande Princesse restaurant," Richards
stated. "Involved in many community activities year round, 'Cheo'
gave generously of his time and energy. An ardent supporter throughout
many political campaigns and activities, he voiced his opinions with
conviction and determination. His enthusiasm and willingness to help
in every regard was greatly appreciated."
Lieutenant Governor Richards also shared: "It is most often individuals
such as 'Cheo,' who go the extra mile, who demonstrate that commitment
to community and others allows us all to grow and benefit. He was indeed
a good example. He will be sorely missed."
