Lieutenant Governor Vargrave Richards extends heartfelt Thanksgiving
wishes to all in the Territory and the entire Nation.
"Thanksgiving is a time of reflection and heartfelt appreciation
for the blessings bestowed upon us throughout the year. It is an opportunity
to join family and friends in offering prayers for our countless gifts
of well-being, prosperity and the very life we live," Lieutenant
Governor Richards stated.
The Lieutenant Governor further added: "As we sit together to enjoy
the sumptuous traditional foods of Thanksgiving, we pause to remember
our soldiers bravely serving in military operations around the world.
We extend hope and care to those less privileged and needy and understand
that we are indeed fortunate to live in the abundance and beauty of
the Virgin Islands."
"We thank all who have supported us during good and challenging
times and are grateful for all who work tirelessly to improve conditions
and the quality of life for the benefit of the global good," Lieutenant
Governor Richards added.
Finally, the Lieutenant Governor once again offers his "very best
wishes for a joyful celebration of 'Thanksgiving' filled with love and
safety."
